AN 8-BORE PERCUSSION SINGLE-BARRELLED FOWLING-PIECE, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, circa 1860, with 44in. triple-staged barrel, squared breech-block with scroll engraving, border and scroll engraved bar-action lock, scroll engraved hammer, walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist (last 3in. of butt replaced with wood extension), iron furniture and white-metal fore-end cap (under-rib loose, ramrod replaced)
